Program Highlights |
| Since 1984, the Maryland Workers' Compensation Educational Association ("MWCEA") has been bringing the Maryland workers' compensation community together at our annual conference. The annual MWCEA Conference provides all professionals involved in the field of workers' compensation and related areas with a premier educational program.
"Hot Topics" is the 2005 conference theme. The conference speakers will explore new and promising therapies and surgical methods for successful healing and reemployment of injured workers. In addition, the Tuesday AM sessions will be devoted to the issues concerning non-English speaking claimants, including the coordination of medical and rehabilitation services. This theme is appropriate for MWCEA's mission, which seeks to improve communication and cooperation in the Maryland Workers' compensation community.
Featured speakers for this program include House and Senate chairs of the Maryland Workers' Compensation Oversight Committee, members of the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission, nationally recognized experts in workers' compensation services, and the most respected health care providers in their areas of practice.
